Allison Remmers, M.D.

Dr. Remmers was born and raised in the Seattle area. After graduating from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, she left Seattle to complete a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. She then returned to Seattle and obtained her medical degree in 2006. Following this, she completed both a general psychiatry residency and a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship through the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Remmers joined ABCD in September, 2011. She has experience in assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults with a broad range of emotional and behavioral difficulties, and has a particular interest in treatment of anxiety disorders and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Dr. Remmers employs both psychotherapy and the use of medications, when indicated, for the treatment of emotional and behavioral disorders.
